HYPNOSIS

Introduction to Hypnosis
Our unconscious mind is trained to monitor and then avoid all unwanted experience.

The biggest obstacle to positive change is the unconscious beliefs that we have accumulated over the years that show up as challenges in our physical and emotional health. These beliefs also inhibit our ability to move out of these old patterns. For over three decades I have been using the best of what hypnosis, Chinese medicine, and mind /body medicine have to offer. The good news is that there are fun, exciting, easy, powerfully fast and effective ways of changing old habits and patterns.

Hypnosis isn't mysterious. It has been around since the ancient Egyptians, who would whisper encouraging words into the ears of sleepers. Today, hypnosis is a scientifically-proven method for making significant changes in our lives. It is safe and powerfully effective.

People enter trance states multiple times a day. A trance is simply a relaxed yet focused state, and often occurs while driving, watching a movie, reading a good book or performing routine tasks that require little need for conscious thought. In this state, you are aware, yet a part of you is immersed in what you are doing. It is essentially a state of deep relaxation.

Is hypnosis safe?
Hypnosis is completely safe, relaxing and even enjoyable. You are aware and in control at every moment and can end the session at any time. Hypnosis is not sleep, nor can you get "stuck" in a state of hypnosis. You cannot be made to do something against your will.
